The Theatre Bizarre

"The Theatre Bizarre"

Apparently it's the return of the anthology era, and this one is coming in hard and strong, like a sack full of knives barreling from the shaft of a massive canon of wickedness. On July 7th, 2011, Severin Films announced the release of the first theatrical trailer for The Theatre Bizarre.

Horror legend Udo Kier (Suspiria, Blood for Dracula) will be the Master of Ceremonies for the film, which is basically six short films by some of horror most brutal and gruesome film makers, including Tom Savini (no introduction needed), Douglas Buck (Family Portraits: A Trilogy of America), and Karim Hussain (cinematographer for Hobo with a Shotgun). Each of the movie's seven film makers were given complete liberty to create a short story to add to the Bizarre collection of films. They didn't hold back either. Savini was shown recently in Fangoria magazine on the set of his addition to the anthology, Wet Dreams, holding a bowl containing severed pork sword. Judging by The Theatre Bizarre's trailer, Savini isn't the only one that didn't hold back.

It's disgusting, perverted, terrifying, and altogether vile...I can't wait to see it! Although the film has no official release date yet, you can follow its progress on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
